Reports a conventional lender asks for.
Three reports, depending on what your lender wrote. Send their wording and we tell you which one it is before anything is booked.
Reports for a conventional loan
For manufactured homes in seven states.
Structural report
A sealed report from a licensed Professional Engineer who has inspected the manufactured home and its foundation in person. It is written to the requirement your lender gave you, so the first step is getting that requirement in writing.
Permanent foundation certification
It is a Professional Engineer's sealed statement that a manufactured home sits on a permanent foundation. Lenders ask for it on a loan, and title companies ask for it when a home is recorded as real property.
Moved-home report
A moved home may have a conventional path, and where it does the lender asks for a structural integrity inspection by a licensed Professional Engineer after the move. Your lender confirms whether your home and loan qualify; the engineer documents the structure.
